Priva Training Day

Friday saw the running of the Priva Training Day with Priva's very own Peter Mos. Prior to this day Peter had been busy visiting growers and advising them about their Priva systems.

The training day saw 11 growers from Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queesnland all converge on our Cranbourne site to participate in the training session. The session also allowed the growers to question Peter on their own particular issues and system settings, which was a very useful exercise.

Peter Mos with a captive audience!

Peter spent some considerable time talking about ventilation - with the reality being that this is the greenhouse operation that is carried out every day - and gaining a good understanding of the P band concept provided plenty of discussion!

Irrigation and the use of shade screens were also hot topics, and Peter's intimate knowledge of the Priva systems gave many growers some new and exciting ideas to try out on their climate management computers when they return home.

The day concluded at around 5.00pm and all of the participants were agreed that it was both a dynamic and instructive session.

Chisholm and Priva are now committed to providing an ongoing commitment to more of this style of training both at the National Precision Growing Centre and also on site at grower's establishments.
